Isn’t It Strange That....

Dan Kessner

Over eighty percent of those who, when asked if they believed in God answered, “Yes.” Yet, when it comes to the subject of religion in the country, the small percentage who say they do not believe have their way over the majority.

Most people say it doesn't matter what religion one is a part of, God will accept it if you are sincere. This makes man, not God, the one to decide what is to be accepted or rejected, doesn't it?

A large percentage of people say they believe the Bible to be God's word, yet, never read it.

Even though an individual never makes any effort to acknowledge God, when they die most everyone will say of the ones who died that they are in heaven.

Most religious people will say one must not judge another in religious matters, yet, that is a judgment in itself.

Some will argue loud and long that a person who studies the Bible does not know what he is talking about, yet, they have no idea what the Bible teaches on the subject, and they make no effort to find out.

People say they accept Jesus as their Savior and use God's name in vain and use all sorts of profanity in their vocabulary .

Many go to religious services each week, yet, they lie, gamble, cheat, steal, and get drunk and never seem to make the distinction between right and wrong.

Millions of dollars are profited each year by those who call themselves Christians(??) who terminate life before it ever leaves the mother. When their lives are threatened, they want the government to force the tax payers who object to abortion to protect them.

Some of those who do not believe in abortion say it is alright to kill the ones who are doing it

The national government supports the murder of millions of babies with tax money forcefully taken from those who do not believe in murdering the innocent children. Then from the other side of their mouths, they decry the crime of killing children.

A large number of those who marry and say, "I do," don't. They are breaking their oath. Should anyone ever believe them again?

Those who say there are no absolutes are absolutely sure there are no absolutes.

Those who say that there is no God will not say they know everything. God could be one something they don't know.

Sex is the way many deadly diseases are passed from one human to another, yet, children are taught how to engage in it "safely" outside of marriage.

The Bible addresses each and every one of these things plainly, yet, few are interested. “For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries; Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead." I Peter 4:3-5.

IT IS INDEED A STRANGE SITUATION, ISN'T IT?
